Last night, in the USA, it was the 91st Academy Awards and the stars arrived with bells on. Well, not actual bells, but some were definitely bells of the ball – flaunting every conceivable high-end fashion label.
From Versace to Christian Siriano and Elie Saab, the stars lit up the red carpet.
Given that the event offers very little room for creativity when it comes to male celebs, some did not let the “strictly black tie” male theme limit their range.
There were some notable efforts from, among others, the likes of Jason Mamoa, Chadwick Boseman and Michael B Jordan.
However, it was the fabulous and hugely talented stage and screen actor Billy Porter, of Pose and American Horror Story: Apocalypse series fame who stole the show in a Christian Siriano tux/gown. Yes, you heard correctly.
