Ermelo march: claims of rubber bullet injuries and police intervention
Questions have been raised following claims of crowd-control measures during ongoing Ermelo protest activity.
Allegations of rubber bullet use and possible illicit substance possession have emerged during an ongoing Ermelo protest linked to the March and March movement.
Security company ACSU issued a live update about an hour ago, stating that activity was concentrated in Sluiter and Oosthuizen streets, advising the public to avoid the area.
The update further claimed that SAPS was using rubber bullets to manage crowd activity.
Photographs and video obtained from the scene appear to show injured protesters, with claims that rubber bullets were used during crowd-control operations.

Separate allegations and video footage have also surfaced regarding individuals found in possession of alleged illicit substances, although these claims have not been independently confirmed.
