30 Seconds to Mars to perform in SA ‘as planned’ (video)

Remember how disappointed we all were when it was announced that American band 30 Seconds to Mars’ SA tour would be postponed?

Well it’s finally time to dust off those tickets, as the band will be performing in the country this weekend.

In the video, the band’s Jared Leto said: “Looking forward to seeing all of my friends in South Africa at the show. Bru, we miss you, it’s been a long time and we’re very, very happy we’re coming back to South Africa.”

Big Concerts International marketing manager Sophie Doherty told The Citizen that both 30 Seconds to Mars concerts were “still scheduled to take place as planned”.

This after the band shifted their South African tour dates to November due to a reported “private medical condition”.

Originally scheduled to perform in the country in June, the band will perform at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg on Friday and at the GrandWest Arena in Cape Town on Sunday.
