Singer and 'Muvhango' actress Thulisile Madihlaba, also known as Chomee, was involved in a car accident near the SABC offices in Auckland Park earlier this week.

According to City Press, the accident took place as Chomee was leaving the SABC buildings after a day of shooting on the ‘Muvhango’ set.
Chomee’s BMW M3 collided with a Nissan Sentra and the unidentified driver was reportedly badly injured.
Three eyewitnesses claim the driver of the Nissan failed to adhere to a stop sign and caused the accident but this version of events has not yet been officially confirmed.
Chomee was taken to a nearby Johannesburg hospital for treatment.
Her manager, Arthur Mafokate, told Daily Sun she seemed fine, although in shock. “She is still in hospital waiting for her X-ray results.”
