The Riot Club is about an exclusive hell-raising society of elite Oxford University students.

These filthy rich snobs – many coming from the aristocracy – use the club to create havoc, including the tradition of smashing up dining establishments beyond recognition. They despise the poor, mock convention and believe they are destined to be superior human beings.
The film focuses more on new boy Miles (played by Max Irons, Jeremy’s son) who is enticed to join the club. One initiation involves imbibing a vile concoction. The Riot Club has a host of young British talent who help recreate the lewdly behaved “monsters” that turn a country pub’s dining room into a disaster area.
It has its pungent moments attacking the crude excesses of a British social class that barely exists today.
