31 days of Christmas: Champagne cocktails to enjoy on New Year’s Eve

Create these champagne cocktails for your New Year’s Eve party or intimate gathering with your friends and loved ones.

If your New Year’s resolution is to cut down on alcohol, then you can try these refreshing and tasty alcohol-free cocktails, also known as mocktails.

Mango bellini

Ingredients

  • Half of a very ripe mango
  • Champagne

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the mango and put it into a blender with 100ml champagne. Blend to a smooth purée, then divide between two champagne flutes.
  2. Top with more chilled champagne, pouring it slowly to avoid overflowing, then serve.

Ingredients

  • Guinness
  • Champagne

Instructions

  1. Half fill champagne flutes with Guinness, then slowly top them up with chilled champagne.

  • 50ml of aperitif such as Aperol or Campari
  • 25ml of sparkling water
  • Champagne
  • Ice cubes

  1. Drop a few ice cubes into the bottom of a wine glass.
  2. Pour the aperitif into the glass, followed by the sparkling water, and then fill up the glass with champagne.

Buck’s fizz

  • 100ml of orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 200ml of chilled champagne

Instructions

  1. First, pour 50ml of the orange juice into each glass.
