Rolene Strauss to release a book of ‘personal stories’

She promises the book will deal with rumours of pregnancy, plastic surgery and financial troubles.

Former Miss SA and Miss World, Rolene Strauss will soon add ‘author’ to her name as she’s set to release her book in October

The former beauty queen who also graduated with a medical degree in 2017 revealed the exciting news during a Q&A video on YouTube with fans.

“I actually finished it (at the) end of April, and the book will be launching in October this year. I’m really excited about that. I’ve always wanted to write a book,” she said.

Rolene explained that the book will give fans an intimate glimpse into the lessons she’s learnt and personal stories.

“The book’s name is Reflections from the Heart, and (it’s) filled with a lot of reflection, personal stories, things that I’ve learned, and I can’t wait to share that with you.”

In the 17-minute clip, Rolene also addressed some of the assumptions people had of her, by answering if they were true or not.

This included rumours about her being pregnant, if she’s had plastic surgery and if she’s faced financial trouble.

Rolene also told fans that she used the prize money she won from both beauty pageants to fund her medical studies and how that affected her pocket
“After that, I did go through financial difficulties where I couldn’t buy all of the groceries I wanted to buy. There were certain things that I couldn’t do because I used all of my money to pay for my studies. I didn’t have an income. I was a student after that.”
