Heavy articulated truck up in flames after collision near Lydenburg
A collision at the Roossenekal T-junction has left one patient with minor injuries
On December 13 at 21:43, a heavy articulated truck drove over the Roossenekal (R555) and Dullstroom road (R540) T-junction, without being able to stop.
It came to a halt on a farm property, about 600m farther.
The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Lydenburg Hospital.
Thaba Chweu Emergency Services, the Lydenburg Traffic Department, Lydenburg SAPS, Netcare 911 and other paramedics were on the scene. Several towing companies and other emergency workers assisted.
