Recently eager citizens lined up at Mogale Wa Bagale Technical Secondary School to register for the forthcoming municipal elections
BURGERSFORT – Recently eager citizens lined up at Mogale Wa Bagale Technical Secondary School to register for the forthcoming municipal elections.
The DA had an exhibition at the entrance, where photos could be taken with their supporters T-shirts handed out. A source alleged that members of the EFF tried to stop residents from registering, but the situation was soon under control and registrations continued as normal.
A local, Mr Johannes Mnisi said he would definitely be voting for the DA. “I trust them, they can count on my vote.”
This publication asked online readers on its Facebook page if they had registered, for which party had their vote and why.
Ms Judy Schoeman said she did not know for which party to vote. According to her, there was no party truly supporting the man on the street. She added that citizens should look around and see how the condition of our town was worsening.
Mr Manie le Roux said that he was definitely not voting for the DA or ANC. He added that Afgri and Solidarity were doing better in assisting the nation. He advised Schoeman to vote for a party that works with them.
