Networking can increase nett worth
Local business people had a chance to rub shoulders during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the launch of the local BNI chapter, Rising Above.

WHITE RIVER – BNI is one of largest business-referral networking organisations in the world with more than 180 000 members in more than 60 countries. BNI Phoenix introduced the chapter at Balcony Manor in White River.
BNI provides a positive, supportive, and structured environment for the development and exchange of quality business referrals. It does so by helping you build personal relationships with dozens of other qualified business professionals.
Belonging to the company is like having dozens of salespeople representing your business, and in return you are representing theirs. What goes around, comes around. If I help you, you’ll help me and we will both benefit as a result.
Networking requires commitment. The most successful chapters comprise participants who are sincerely committed to helping one another through networking. They are a team.
As a participant in BNI, you are responsible for complying with the policies and guidelines of the organisation.
BNI members, on average, increase their business by 20 per cent in the first year. A chapter is a dynamic, committed group of business people who know how to refer business to one another.
Rising Above is registered and acknowledged by BNI as a new chapter and members are loaded on BNI connect. It can load and track all business and training is provided and tracked.
BNI South Africa stats for 2014 were over 108 000 referrals in 108 chapters amounting to R634 000 000 worth of business.
The world stats for 2014 are 6 600 000 referrals.
