If it’s true that criminals never sleep, the same can be said of and Hi-Tech Security Nelspruit and Bossies Community Justice. During the past week the two companies had been involved in several operations to keep the city safe. Last Wednesday just after midnight, Hi-Tech received a panic alarm from residents in Alkmaar. On arrival, they found three suspects had entered the house by breaking the security gate and forcing the front door open. One was armed with a gun and the other two with knives.
The suspects told the children to “sleep” and covered them with blankets while their mother ran into the bathroom.
The men took two laptops, iPads and cellphones before fleeing the scene. The whole robbery was over in in less than 13 minutes.
Hi-Tech members scouted the area for more than an hour, but could not find anything. The police are investigating the case. Hi-Tech encourages anyone with information, to contact its control room on 013-752-4470.
On Thursday in a combined operation, a suspect was found with a gate remote. He tried to flee but was promptly arrested.
On the same day, the two organisations, in conjunction with SAPS, arrested two suspects and recovered a white VW Polo. The occupants had been harassing the community of Nelspruit for several weeks. Hi-Tech thanks everyone involved for responding so quickly.
