A response to the Amazing Grace article

Corridor Gazette received the following letter about last week’s article on Amazing Grace:

I came across the article published on the newspaper recently. To my surprise more was written about the orphanage itself than about the incidents described. This matter frustrates me as I am one of the children who grew up in this home and none of the information in the story is true. This organization does its best to better the lives of orphaned children.

To my surprise there is allegations of staff taking food to their homes and children eating inedible food. This is a 100% a lie because there is groceries for the kids on a monthly basis unless you allege that the orphanage buys rotten food? I do not think SPAR sells rotten food.

My main concern is that you lied in this article by saying a staff member told you the story about the children and the home. The article was sent to all of us children of the amazing grace by Sasha Daniels. By mentioning the name ‘”staff” members of the Amazing Grace you are ruining the reputation of people who work with these children in that shelter.

And according to Daniels he violated the rules of the home which led to his expulsion. He therefore decided to go to the media. We requested proof him of his allegations but he could not provide any. Amazing Grace will never let the children go hungry or serve them rotten food!’

Only after you have found the necessary proof you can republish the story.

And even more importantly – not a single child was ever beaten at this shelter!
