NELSPRUIT – “We are always putting passengers’ safety first.”
Mr Marius Nel, managing director at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) confirmed that at this stage the incessant rain of the past few days had not quite yet stopped activities at the airport but that they will definitaly ensure that passengers are safe at all times.
“This past week we have only had a few delays in flight times due to the rain and on Wednesday late afternoon we had to divert two flights to other airports due to bad weather,” Nel added.
He said that the weather would be monitored and that passengers can contact KMIA or visit their website to confirm weather flights would be delayed or diverted.
