A Hyundai car ended up on it’s roof during a traffic accident at Ehmke Street on Tuesday morning.
According to witnesses one of the drivers crossed over Ehmke Street, apparently not noticing the oncoming vehicle. One of the vehicles hit the driver’s side of the other, rolled and landed on its roof.
The passenger of the Hyundai had a badly injured left leg and had been put in a neck brace. The driver had no visible injuries but is thought to have sustained a neck injury.
The Fire Department and two ambulances quickly arrived on scene but traffic officials reportedly only arrived 45 minutes after they had been notified of the accident by witnesses. According to a person on the scene, the traffic officials said they had never received the call to respond to the accident.
The two women had been transported to hospital in the mean time.
