A number of people were spotted queuing at the premier, David Mabuza’s private residence on Friday morning. It is located on a farm on the R38 a few kilometres outside Barberton.
Zibonele Mncwango, the premier’s spokesman, said he couldn’t confirm why people were at the Mabuza residence.
“The premier is a leader and there can always be people outside his residence – whether in his state residence (Nelspruit) or his private one (Barberton). And there is nothing wrong with that.
He might have had a prior arrangement with them”, said Mncwango. Read more of this story in the next print edition of Barberton Times.
