NELSPRUIT – A would-be robber was so unhappy to be chased from the scene of his alleged planned crime, that he returned later to threaten his victims with a gun.
The incident occurred in Diploma Street on Friday. Four suspects had gained access to a house, by removing the burglar bars of a glass door. However, they were surprised by the owners who walked right into the break-in, as they were ransacking the house.
All four fled on foot, but later one of them returned to the house with a firearm and allegedly threatened one of the victims. Luckily, nobody was injured.
Hi-Tech Security Nelspruit and Bossies Community Justice arrived. A flat-screen television and other small items were stolen. The suspects are still at large.
