Trial postponed yet again for alleged truck thief
Mr Simon Lucky Balepile (43) will have to wait a little longer for his trail to be heard in court as it has been postponed to Friday May 16.

MBUZINI – Mr Simon Lucky Balepile (43) will have to wait a little longer for his trial to be heard in court as it has been postponed to Friday May 16.
Balepile was found in possession of a reportedly stolen truck worth R1,6 million. On April 30 he was formally charged with possession of a stolen vehicle but the case was postponed for further investigation to May 12.
According to Brig Selvy Mohlala, the police in Mbuzini received information about a truck suspiciously parked between Steenbok and Goba roads outside Mbuzini. There were triangles placed out in front and at the rear.
He said, “The police launched preliminary investigations and discovered that the truck was reportedly stolen in Nelspruit. The suspect, who was also found in possession of a delivery invoice book, was arrested and the truck seized.”
He added that it was alleged that the truck might have been hijacked in Ngodwana but further investigation would make that clear. Mohlala was unavailable for an update on the proceedings of the case.
