Fletcher Mog releases an album dedicated to Limpopo people

BURGERSFORT – Fletcher Mogoane (24), also known as the pedi rapper or Flet Mog has released his first album, Tja Limpopo. The long-awaited album will hit the shelves on August 2. It has 12 tracks including the well-known hits, tjhetjhela morago and Gae ke Limpopo.

Fletcher said he released this album to give back to his hometown. He dedicated the track to all the people of Limpopo.

“I hope to reach out to my fellow homies. I also intend to release most songs in my mother tongue, Sepedi. My music accommodates all age groups,” he boasted.

He said his music was unique, “It has an African vibe and can be played at weddings, other gigs and parties.” He told Steelburger/Lydenburg News that he would bring Tja Limpopo home and shoot a few music videos in Burgersfort. The music videos will be shot on October 4, venues are still to be confirmed.

“My album has already been released on most radio stations in Limpopo including Tubatse FM and Sekhukhune FM.

He said performing at the hip hop cares event was one of the highlights of his music career, as he got to show Tubatse what he’s made of.

He previously worked with hip-hop stalwarts like , Slabsta, Kzone, Bushman and Nozi , the quartet also contributed in making Tja Limpopo a success.

He thanked the local media houses for supporting him and encouraged them to continue supporting him and other musicians in Tubatse. He encouraged the locals to vote for him as the best newcomer in the Hype magazine.

He referred to his new album as a brand that would be there for many years and would improve local rappers’ skills.

The Tja Limpopo CD  will be  available at most Burgersfort outlets for only R100 a copy. “Burgersfort people should buy themselves copies, this work represents them. Its a pure reflection of who we are.”
