Thousands set to run Kaapsehoop 4 in 1 Marathon for wild horses
Social media personalities, top athletes and conservation supporters will descend on the Lowveld to celebrate more than four decades of racing for local wildlife.
The Tswelopele Funerals Kaapsehoop 4 in 1 Marathon 2026 is around the corner, with an anticipated 10 000 participants set to line up for an event that began with just 62 runners in 1985.
On November 7, Lowveld runners will come together for a bustling weekend in support of the Wild Horse Conservancy and the beloved wild horses that form part of Kaapsehoop’s identity.
The horses are part of what makes the village memorable, and protecting them takes ongoing care, commitment and community support.
