Polsec: crime round-up for September 2

This past week victims of crime were relieved of their passports, driver's licences and identity documents.

Flashpoint areas and tendencies:

Crime – Housebreakings
Areas: Mataffin, West Acres, Claremont, Stonehenge, KaMagugu, Nelspruit Central, Valencia, Sonheuwel CBD, Brondal and Nelsville.
Streets: Tricellia, Percy Fitzpatrick, Turtle, Miller, Jan Frederik, Ivukusi, Bunting, Liebenberg, Bester, Tawny Eagle, Swallow, Ferreira, Du Preez and Wallace.

Burglary at business premises
Areas: Riverside Industrial, Nelspruit Central, CBD, Alkmaar, Industrial Park and Delta Manganese.
Streets: Waterfall, Penny, Ferreira, Silva, Short, Brown, Heynecke and Van Rensburg.

Crime – Theft out of motor vehicles
Areas: Sonheuwel, CBD, West Acres, Nelspruit Central, The Grove and Riverside Mall parking areas and Vintonia.
Streets: Boshoff, Samora Machel, Brown, Protea Crescent, Giraffe, Koedoe, Murray, Geelhout, Andrew, Old Pretoria Road and Ferreira.

The following items were stolen:
Radio, tools, drill, passports, driver’s licence, identity documents, playstation, cellphones, camping chairs, modem, memory stick, clothes, laptops, chargers, documents, perfume, handbag, bank cards, keys, car keys, cash, hard drive, SIM card.

Crime – Robberies with firearms/hijackings
Areas: Friedenheim, Riverside, Uitkyk and CBD.
Street: Samora Machel.
