KOMATIPOORT – Yesterday afternoon the scene of three men being searched by police in the street had everyone curious as to what was happening.

The three were suspected of being in possession of rhino horn.

They were followed and pulled over by police near the railway bridge on Rissik Street.

According to Brig Selvy Mohlala, the men were released after the search. No rhino horn or any other illegal goods or sunstances were found on them or in their vehicle.

Mohlala said, “The suspects were parked in an area where they were not suppose to be. This made the police suspicious that they might have illegal items in their person. They were followed and pulled over to be searched. Nothing was found and the men were released”.
