On a quest to raise pocket money for Spur school MTB series final trip, fourteen cyclists from Lydenburg Hoerskool went to the local Spur Ranch to shadow as waiters on Wednesday night.

As the winning school they get to take 14 children to the finals.The league will be held at Bekker High School in Magaliesberg.

High school mountain bikers from across South Africa, Namibia, and Zimbabwe will compete.

The learners performed  duties of a waiter such as cleaning tables, taking orders, and escorting clients to their tables. The cyclist had mentors to show them how to execute those duties.
