Steelwings Nelspruit are at it again, organising a golf day to donate much needed food and supplies to places of care around the Lowveld.
MBOMBELA – Nelspruit Sunrise Steelwings Nelspruit will host their seventh charity golf day at Matumi Golf Club on Friday 31 October.
Amanda van Kradenburg, one of the golf day organisers, says all proceeds will be donated to old age homes, children homes and underprivileged
schools in the area.
“We donate to Silverdae old age home in Waterval Boven, St John’s children’s home in Barberton, Herfsakker old age home in Nelspruit, Graskop old age home, SPCA Nelspruit and Barberton, Pet Rescue and Jamming for Bibles.”
Silverwings have received 63 sponsors this year, including businesses and individuals.
“We are expecting 126 golfers. A group of 16 will travel from Johannesburg,” says Van Kradenburg.
Anyone is welcome at the event. There are three “4 Balls” left, in which teams of four compete with one another. The first 12 people will
be accepted. For more event information, contact Amanda: 082 411 1127
