Alleged suspects who have been terrorising farmers await their court date

TONGA – Ndumiso Mahlalela (21) and Siyabonga Masilela (24) are still awaiting their High Court trial date.

These two suspects were arrested earlier this year by the Tonga SAPS and have been charged on various counts, inclucing possession of unlicensed firearms, robbery with aggravating circumstances, housebreaking, attempted murder and murder, as well as a charge of housebreaking that took place in the Malalane area.

They will appear in Tonga Magistrate’s Court on November 28 for the decision on their High Court date.

“Mahlalela and Masilela are still in police custody and will remain so until they their High Court appearance,” said Lt Mzwandile Nyambi, Tonga SAPS spokesman.
