Most wanted dangerous suspect on the loose

Community members are warned not to apprehend him as he is very dangerous

SEKHUKHUNE – Police in Sekhukhune are appealing to members of the community to assist them in locating Vincent Mthembi (27) who has been terrorizing the community of Sekhukhune and the surrounding homesteads for the past three weeks.

Now that he knew that police are hot on his heels for his spate of armed robberies and murder, the suspect has started threatening the investigating officer telephonically.

Mthembi is believed to be armed with two firearms after he robbed a firearm in a house robbery in Sekhukhune earlier this month. He later fired two shots shortly after robbing a couple of their belongings. He is also connecting to the murder of a Jane Furse taxi driver whom he killed before he fled with his combi on Monday. The combi was later found abandoned in Burgersfort.

Mthembi is believed to be moving between Burgersfort, Jane Furse, Phalaborwa and Moloto near Pretoria. Anyone with information must please contact the investigating officers Constable Molokwane on 071 481 4299 or Constable Mashiane on 082 501 6832. Community members are warned not to apprehend him as he is very dangerous.
