Little ones share the Christmas spirit

Whoops a Daisy Angel was a beautiful play during which aspects of Christmas and the true meaning of this special time were combined. The crowd applauded and laughed at the young ones' antics in front of their parents, family and friends.

MBOMBELA – Innocence is one the greatest gifts children have at their disposal and this was one of the major themes of the Penryn Preschool Nativity Play for the

grade 000 – R’s at the

Penryn Chapel.

Whoops a Daisy Angel was a beautiful play during which aspects of Christmas and the true meaning of this special time were combined. The crowd applauded and laughed at the young ones’ antics in front of their parents, family and friends.

The lead was played by Ruva Nyatsambo, the cute Whoops a Daisy Angel, who seemed to always be the one who was left out of all the activities.

Leylah Butler and Danielle van Zyl played the role of the lead angels and did an excellent job in assisting little Ruva on stage. There was a number of interesting developments in the play with sheep, shepherds and little kids representing stars joined in many song-and-dance numbers.

These will always be the main attractions at such plays with the kids on stage enjoying every moment of the experience. The little girls were dressed in white dresses which further symbolised their purity and innocence.

Hilarity ensued during many of the dance numbers as the young ones struggled with the choreographed moves, resorting to their own interpretations at times.

The parents loved every moment of this feel-good play as their little ones shone during one of the biggest events

of their preschool year.
