Nkomazi officials out in force for late Sipho’s family
A much-cared-for employee of the Marlothi Shopping Centre filling station, Mr Sipho Mongwe, died in a vehicle accident this past weekend.
MARLOTH PARK – His father, brother and daughter who travelled with him to Bushbuckridge, were also killed, leaving behind Mongwe’s wife and mother who are in a critical condition in hospital as is his younger sister.
The family was returning from visiting their ill grandfather when a tyre burst and the vehicle hit a tree at One Tree Hill.
The executive mayor of Nkomazi, Cllr Thulisile Khoza, ANC regional chairman in Ehlanzeni Mr Ngrayi Ngwenya, along with local members of the ANC visited the family to offer their condolences. Contributions were obtained from everyone present and handed over to the family.
Representatives from the Road Accident Fund and Department of Social Development, were also there to assist the family. Should any of Sipho’s former clients wish to donate towards the funeral of the many family members, it can be done in the account of:

The Marlothi Shopping Centre is also donating food for the funeral and staff members have already started contributing cash to assist the family as there is no funeral policy.
