Ohrigstad rugby club annihilate Hazyview team from the word go
In the dying minutes of the match, the local side put the icing on the cake when they scored their third try to clinch the match by 24-0.
OHRIGSTAD – Ohrigstad Rugby Club walloped their Hazyview counterparts 24-0 to send the local crowd into rapture.
The one-sided encounter was played at the local primary school and the hometeam dominated the match from start to finish.
Martin van der Berg scored a penalty to put the local side in the lead in the first half. In the second half the local side doubled their pressure; it yielded dividends when Van der Berg crossed the line to score the first try of the match.
The try was converted by Juan van Zyl. Dirk Viljoen ended Hazyview rugby club’s hopes of a comeback when he scored his team’s second try which was also converted to give his side a 17-0 lead.
