There can be no price on community safety, especially when it comes to real estate. That is why Remax Lifestyle Estates, which gives a percentage of its monthly turnover to a charity organisation, has opted to support local community-safety group Bossies Community Justice (BCJ), with a sturdy amount of R13 568,27.
The money will go towards BCJ’s kitty which is used to pay out rewards for information relating to crime, or information about possible suspects.
The cheque was handed over to Mr Jacques Meiring and Vissie Visser of BCJ at a breakfast event at the Remax offices at Sonpark on Friday. Owner Mr Maurice Lodewick explained that they donated to BCJ up to four times a year, because “if the crime is under control it is good for everyone”.
