Local casino sponsor soccer tournament as part of youth day celebrations

MARESELENG – Thaba Moshate Hotel, Casino and Convention Resort once again showed that they care about the needs of their surrounding communities.
The casino sponsored a 16-team soccer tournament that started on June 16. The games will end on June 21.
The casino’s marketing manager, Lynette Chivaviro, told Steelburger/Lydenburg News that they wanted to give back to the locals as part of Youth Day celebrations.
“We brought our banners, and organised a truck that played music throughout the games. We achieved our aim as the management of the casino also played soccer with the local kids,” she said.
Steelburger /Lydenburg News witnessed an entertaining match between arch-rivals Batau Kings and All Stars FC. The match ended with Batau winning 3-1.
