Speedsters in Hunter Street meet their match
Hunter Street now has two new speed bumps.

Due to a series of complaints by Hunter Street residents, Mbombela Local Municipality (MLM) has erected two speed bumps to prevent motorists from causing harm to people.
Pedestrians frequent the street and very often have to jump out of the road to make way for the speeding vehicles.
According to one of the residents, taxis and other vehicles race down the street and do not reduce speed around the sharp blind corners.

“This was the best thing that could have happened,” said the resident.
I think it is a bargain.
MLM have received an array of negative responses about the speed bumps. Read more in tomorrow’s edition of Nelspruit Post.
