MBOMBELA –  South African Police Services arrested 151 motorists for drunken driving, issued 784 notices, impounded 2 vehicles and discontinued 36 vehicles for being unroadworthy, during yesterday’s operations overnight.
The operations were conducted throughout the province by Provincial traffic officers, SAPS and the National Traffic Police. “Well done to the officers who faced the disrespectful drivers who were under the influence of alcohol. We also thank the drivers who were cooperative and obeyed the laws of this country,” said Provincial spokesman Brigadier Selvy Mohlala.
