OHRIGSTAD – With fewer accidents reported in Tubatse this past Easter Weekend, the local SAPS are still hard at work investigating a case of reckless and negligent driving that occurred on the R555.

According to Ohrigstad police spokesman, Const Kholofelo Phokane, the driver of a Toyota Cressida lost control of the vehicle which rolled several times near Majaditshukudu Village.

“The driver sustained minor injuries, while the passengers, being the wife and four kids (one boy and three girls), were seriously injured. They were all taken to the Dilokong Hospital for treatment,” Phokane said.

He then urged drivers to abide by road rules even after the holidays. “Nothing should change, the police will still have zero tolerance concerning drunk and reckless driving.”
