DA wants to satisfy people’s hunger for change

According to Masango, the DA wants to inform the community about the fairness campaign that they are running.

MASHISHING – The leader of the Democratic Alliance in Mpumalanga, Mr James Masango, visited the Marikana Ward 5 settlement in Mashishing on Thursday, April 14.

The purpose of the visit was to continue with DA’s drive for a better country.

According to Masango, the DA wants to inform the community about the fairness campaign that they are running.

“We want the people to know where we coming from and where we are going.

We also want to address the issues of inequality in the country because the people are still unemployed, the public is still not receiving the services they need and corruption is making the situation even worse,” he said.

During his visit, Masango engaged with the residents in person.

“The most important thing we want the public to know is that everyone has a right to vote for the party of their choice and the councillor they want although I want them to know that the DA is here and we can offer them better services,” he said.

“The community is hungry for change and the change that they want must be done through the ballot paper when they cast their vote on August 3 because change cannot come through protest.”

Masango was joined by DA councillors and activists.

He visited various areas in Mpumalanga Province including,Tsama-Tsumas Blyde River (Pilgrim’s Rest), Shushumelo, Dullstroom and Open Space in Lebohang.
