LYDENBURG – Students who receive French classes from Gerda Whitehorn had fun-filled cooking lessons on Saturday May 21. This French cooking class is part of their preparations for the upcoming Bastille Day which will take place on July 14 at JamJar Lounge.

The students had the opportunity to prepare a four-course meal with two local chefs Brian Whitehorn, from Paardeplaats Nature Retreat and André du Preez from Café Crust.

The menu consisted of radis au beurre, soupe bonne femme et baguette, pommes de terre du jardin et aioli and paté maison et baguette. If you want to join the local French class contact Whitehorn on 079-515-7799.
