Learners dress like their idols

According to the principal, Ms Hilda Mamphoke, the school invited various professionals from different walks of life to share information with the children.

BURGERSFORT – Magakantshe Primary School in Makgemang Village held its annual career dress-up day last Friday.

The aim of the event was to encourage pupils focus on their studies and to choose careers at an early age. They dressed up like lawyers, mechanics and doctors, to name but a few.

According to the principal, Ms Hilda Mamphoke, the school invited various professionals from different walks of life to share information with the children.

“Many of the pupils know what they want to become one day and this was the perfect opportunity to nurture them while they are still young. I believe they will make the right choices when they grow up,” said Mamphoke.
