TCM on alert for heavy rainfall and possible flooding

LYDENBURG – Trans African Concessions (TRAC) has issued an update on cyclone Dineo. TRAC manages the road link between South Africa and Mozambique.
It stated that the system remains on its predicted West-North-West route through the Northern part of Limpopo.
“It is currently a Tropical Storm (TS) but will dissipate to a Tropical Depression (TS) within 12 hours. The current speed of movement is at 16km/h (from 10km/h) which indicates that it is losing intensity.”
It said that Mpumalanga will mostly deal with heavy rains and possible localized flooding and wind.
