“One person was transported to hospital for further medical care.”On Monday the driver of the light motor vehicle, a man, was declared dead on the scene.”He was the only occupant in the light car. One of the occupants in the truck was trapped for some time.

The fire department used the Jaws of Life to free the man. Once freed, the two occupants from the truck were stabilised on scene and thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
“Netcare 911 paramedics worked alongside other services including the Nelspruit Fire Department on scene in both accidents,” said Mathe.
Netcare 911 would like to advise all motorists to be extra cautious when driving in the wet conditions experienced in many parts of our country.
