BURGERSFORT – Whiskey lovers were on cloud nine when Jameson international brand ambassadors recently visited the Thaba Moshate Hotel Casino and Convention Resort, for a consumer whiskey-tasting.
Thirty Thaba Moshate connoisseurs gathered at the Molecule Show Bar to taste a variety of Jameson whiskeys. Among the famous distiller’s offerings they imbibed on the night were Select Reserve and Caskmates triple-distilled Irish whiskey, and more.Speaking to Steelburger/Lydenburg News, Jameson ambassador, Tshepo Rakoma of Pernod Ricard sales, reiterated that the event was held to educate consumers about the various whiskeys Jameson produces.”There is a huge potential of whiskey connoisseurs in the Burgersfort area. We wanted to give them in-depth knowledge of Jameson whiskeys as a range,” he said.Thaba Moshate’s marketing manager, Theo Moeng, said most whiskey tasters enjoyed the event and gave the Jameson team the thumbs up.
