Drug seized in joint operation

A total of three women was arrested in the Msholozi area.

Dagga to the value of between R20 000 and R25 000 was taken off the streets of White River last week.
This was thanks to a joint operation between the SAPS and J&M Security’s tactical response unit, or as the ops manager Shaun Terblanche likes to call it, the Jack Russell Squad.
The suspects, two women, were arrested at around 12:00 in the Msholozi area.
“They are currently in custody, facing charges of illegal possession of narcotics,” said Terblanche. He added that the dagga joints that were confiscated are worth approximately R16 000, and the rest was found unprocessed in two buckets.

According to Serg Cynthia Mbokodo said that another arrest was made in Msholozi on Friday. “A 36-year old woman was arrested for possession of dagga to the value of R15 000,” she said.
