The N4 in Emalahleni is now open after taxi strike comes to an end
EMALAHLENI – The N4 is open after this morning’s taxi strike.
Taxi drivers blocked the national road while driving to eMalahleni’s local municipality building to hand over a memorandum.
This was done.
Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison (DCSSL) spokesman, Joseph Mabuza confirmed that the strike is as a result of taxi route dispute as well as ranking facilities.
The affected routes were the N4 between KG Mall and Emalahleni on both directions.
