Matric pupils shine brightly at their farewell

BURGERSFORT – St Thomas College brought youthful flair with a splash of exuberance to Lapeng Guest Lodge when it recently held its annual matric dance there. It was a magical evening, with learners looking glamorous and set for an elegant event. The young couples arrived at the venue in various modes of transport. The hall was beautifully decorated and the girls looked stunning and elegant and the gents debonair. Each couple was presented to a large crowd as they walked down the red carpet. One of the pupils, Abbey Nkwan, said it was indeed an event to remember as they feasted and danced the night away. The pupils told Steelburger/Lydenburg News they especially enjoyed the designated areas set up for them to have photographs taken.
