Church’s annual golf day is a resounding success

The Nederduitsch Hervormde Kerk Barberton held its annual golf day at Barberton Golf Club on Friday.

The purpose of the event, played in a fourball American scramble format, was to raise funds for the church.

Individuals and corporates came in numbers to show their support.

Rev Dewald Kruger said as a church they are meant to serve the community, and such events assist them in keeping the church running.

“Without each other, no one can survive. My personal thanks to everyone who attended and made the day possible,” he said.
