Welcome to the future of knowledge – technology

MobiGo Solutions launched their newest virtual reality and augmented reality applications.

MBOMBELA – White and black empowerment looks like MobiGo Solutions. This was the message delivered by Dr Mathews Phosa at the launch of the company’s new products last Wednesday evening.

Guests snacked on La Villa Vita’s eats and sipped on wine while they learned more about what MobiGo Solutions offers.

The successful businessman explained that, for all his own old-school attitudes to technology, such as in his personal banking, he was particularly excited by the company’s products. “We live in a new world, one in which we didn’t grow up: a world of technology which is driving everything.

“That is the type of education we should start imparting to our children. The world has changed. Manufacturing, farming, all are technology-driven.

“You have to come to the future of knowledge, which is technology. It makes things possible. You, as a human being, make things happen. You need technology as a weapon.”

Phosa also celebrated the partnership between his daughter, Tshepiso Phosa, and Chantelle Swanepoel, two young women partnering to build something of value and benefit to their communities in MobiGo Solutions.

“The most important thing for us is to make learning fun, easy and easily accessible,” Swanepoel said.

The company specialises in two- and three-dimensional animation, training, industrial inductions and marketing.

On the evening they launched their newest virtual reality and augmented reality applications to, among other things, train people to respond to real-world hazardous situations in a safe environment.

They also offer a mobile application which allows people and school pupils to use a cell phone and a cube to study the inner workings of any object, including complex machinery or vehicles in an interactive way. Imagine the marketing and educational possibilities of holding a hologram in your hand.

Notably, the company is making all this technology available to clients locally: No more paying exorbitant fees to get a Gauteng crew to perform a site visit. “And, very importantly, everything we do is custom-made for each client’s needs,” Swanepoel said.

“We truly believe that having an educated workforce will make our nation more stable and also help everyone in our community to be able to reach their goals successfully.”

MobiGo Solutions is all about uplifting the people who work for them as well as the community.

Tshepiso Phosa agreed that the company’s heart lies, primarily, in training. Her role in the company is to focus on their corporate social investment.

Errol Mathebula.

“Be the change in your community to be the change in your industry,” she said.

Swanepoel and Phosa also understand the importance of collaboration between large and small businesses.

It is not for nothing that the so-called fourth industrial revolution is seeing talent drive progress, something which is much more important than capital. And with these forward thinkers, MobiGo Solutions is right at the forefront of change for the better.
