New leaders learn all about leadership
Becoming a leader at Steelpoort Academy means you have to endure team-building exercises and loads of mental and physical challenges
Elected leaders for 2019 recently departed on a camp held at Blyde Adventure Camp in Hoedspruit for a weekend.
It was a wonderful experience that included many fun activities like tubing down the river, an obstacle course and fun games.
A lot of attention was given to team-building activities and the responsibilities
of a leader.
Four youth workers attended the course with the children, ensuring that they were informed of their responsibilities and duties as leaders for 2019 in a fun way.
A bus filled with energised children left for the camp and a bus full of tired children got off the bus after the weekend’s activities, ready for the responsibilities of being good leaders.
