On March 2 the Lowveld Inter-dojo Championships was hosted in Skukuza by the combined Hazyview-Skukuza Dojo. White River Dojo earned the most points with Nelspruit Dojo in second place and the joint Hazyview-Skukuza Dojo in third place.

The NWS Karate Regional Chamionships (Lowveld Region against Eastern Gauteng) was held on April 13 at the Military Sports Complex in Mbombela. Nelspruit, White River, Hazyview-Skukuza, Witbank, Benoni, Boksburg and Kempton Park dojos participated.

The Lowveld Region won the visiting region (Eastern Gauteng) by far. White River Dojo once again came out tops, with Nelspruit in the second place and Benoni third.
