Grade R pupil kidnapped; R2 million ransom asked

Everyone is asked to be on the look-out for the missing girl since the kidnappers could have fled into any direction.

VANDERBIJL – The kidnappers of a pre-school girl is asking an R2 million ransom for her return.

The six-year-old Amy-Lee de Jager who was kidnapped this morning after she was snatched from her mother at Laerskool Kollegepark is still missing.

In the meantime, the SAPS confirmed that a huge search and rescue operation is underway to find little Amy-Lee. According to information received, the four kidnappers forced her into a white Toyota Fortuner. The Fortuner has no registration number. Amy-Lee was wearing a pink dress with black tights.

Everyone is asked to be on the look-out for the missing girl since the kidnappers could have fled into any direction.
