Gogos soccer team handed soccer kit

Vakhegula Vakhegula soccer team visited Tubatse last Thursday. The elderly women soccer team from Nkowa Nkowa were here to encourage local gogos to play soccer and to get fit.
They also participated in a friendly match against the local rookie gogos, Thabatsweu Old Age soccer team, from Apel. The experienced Vakhegula Vakhegula won the encounter 2-1.
Mentor to the Thabatshweu gogos, Justice (MJ) Ratsoma, from the Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality, said the newly established team tried their best against their highly favored opponents.
“It was their first match, but they gave their all. We also managed to donate to them soccer kits as well as soccer balls, to help them grow their teams. This will also get the grannies fit to fight off diseases.”
