Charbo sport tournament

Charbo Security's Annual Sports Tournament in Mashishing recently ended on a high note.

The two-day tournament took place at the Kellysville Sports Grounds where 14 teams competed in soccer and netball on August 24 and 25.

According to Charbo Security’s Charles Fakude, the tournament aimed to honour women during Women’s Month, as well as to support the fight against women, child, and substance abuse.

“We aim to give support and show appreciation to women and children in sports, so they can be recognised and not feel isolated in our communities,” Fakude said.

The competition was fierce during the tournament. Players cooperated tactically and the crowd was filled with enthusiasm. A Malawian soccer team was invited to join the competition, which enhanced the influence and enjoyment of the tournament.
