Hyundai Godshome Charity drive

Hyundai Lydenburg and its staff hosted a Godshome charity drive at the car dealer recently.

The event was a huge success that saw huge support from local businesses and residents. Customers and donors each received a boerewors roll.

According to organisers, Bianca Joubert and Cecilia Els, they saw the need in the community for those less privileged.

“We decided to help out where we can and that is how the idea of a charity drive was born. Godshome is a national non-profit organisation that helps the less fortunate. Due to little or no funding, they need events like this to continue with their unselfish and, most often, unappreciated work,” Joubert said.

“We couldn’t have done it without the help of the following businesses and individuals. A special thank you to each business and members of the public who donated towards this initiative.”

Godshome’s MC Pretorius thanked to Hyundai Lydenburg, Bianca Joubert and Cecilia Els for the wonderful event they held for Godshome. “Thanks to your generous sponsorship,we were able to raise awareness among people to the prevalent condition of our most destitute of people, and how drives like these are just one of the many ways in which we could help uplift and empower the needy among us.

We deeply appreciate the willingness with which you have assisted us in our efforts to make our people live with as much dignity as possible and we hope that this association will be maintained as a great friendship and that you will continue to support us in our future endeavors.” She said.
